I first met Andrew Keenan-Bolger when we were baby gays in NYC. It's been five years since I last interviewed Andrew. Wonder why all our interviews have been in five year increments?

I am so excited that we finally got to do a video interview together!

Andrew is an actor, author, director & producer who is known for his starring roles on Broadway in Disney's Newsies, Mary Poppins & Tuck Everlasting.

After a little bit of time away, Andrew is back on the New York stage sinking his teeth into the Off-Broadway comedy, Dracula A Comedy Of Terrors.

In this interview, Andrew answered my call to reveal:
  • Auditioning for Dracula A Comedy Of Terrors
  • Stage Mishaps
  • What he still wants to take a bite out of in life
  • Sucking blood
  • Having his "Sandy" moment from the movie Grease
  • So much more

Filled with clever wordplay and anything-goes pop culture references, Dracula A Comedy Of Terrors, is a 90-minute, gender-bending, quick-changing, laugh-out-loud reimagining of the gothic classic, perfect for audiences of all blood types.

In the treacherous mountains of Transylvania, a meek English real estate agent takes a harrowing journey to meet a new and mysterious client, who also just happens to be the most terrifying and ferocious monster the world has ever known: Count Dracula! As famed female vampire hunter Jean Van Helsing and company chase Drac from Transylvania to the British countryside to London and back, their antics are guaranteed to increase your pulse and cause bloodcurdling screams—of laughter.

Dracula A Comedy Of Terrors plays at New World Stages in New York City through January 7, 2024!
