Live from the Marquis Theatre in NYC, where Tootsie, the 11-time Tony nominated* Musical plays, Call Me Adam chats with Actor John Behlmann who originates the role of "Max Van Horn," the only new character created for the Broadway show.

In this interview, John answered to my call to share:

• Why he knew Tootsie was the Broadway audition he had to go after
• What he does not relate to about his over-the-top character
• How he prepares for the timing, stamina & precision of physical comedy
• The funniest mishaps that happened during rehearsals or the show
• Favorite ice cream orders & Dairy Queen Commercial memories
• So much more

Tootsie tells the story of Michael Dorsey, an out-of-work actor willing to do anything for a job — even if it means playing way against type. When he disguises himself as an outspoken actress named Dorothy Michaels, he defies all odds to become a Broadway sensation.

But as audiences fall for Dorothy and Michael starts to fall for the woman of his dreams, he's learning that the hardest part of show business isn't getting to the top...it's keeping up the act.

Tootsie plays at the Marquis Theatre in NYC (210 West 46th Street).
