1. You just released your solo debut holiday album, Christmas & You, featuring 13 original songs, all co-written by you. What made you want to release a holiday album of all original music as opposed to covering already established holiday songs? I wanted to give people something brand new to attach their own memories to. The classics are perfect already, but original songs let me tell fresh stories that still feel timeless and personal.
2. What was the first song that you wrote for the album? The first song I wrote was New York on New Year’s Eve. I wrote the song during the pandemic while I was living in NYC.
3. When did you start working on this album in order to get it released by the holiday season? I started writing at the very beginning of the pandemic, through March 2025. I wanted to take my time and make sure everything felt true and not rushed.

4. How did you get into the holiday mindset at this time of year? I lean into nostalgia. Movies like Home Alone and Charlie Brown Christmas, lights on the tree, being around friends and family, and letting gratitude lead the way while on tour.
5. Why did you want to title the album Christmas & You? Christmas & You felt right because every song is really about connection. Christmas is about with whom you share it.
6. In addition to releasing your new holiday album, you are also on a Christmas & You tour. What do you like about touring during the holiday season as opposed to other times of the year? The audiences I think are extra open-hearted during the holidays. People come ready to feel and to celebrate together.

7. Let's get to know more about you by playing off some of the song titles from your new holiday album.
- "My Every Wish" - What is one wish you have for yourself that has not come true yet? I wish for peace in our world.
- "Snow Day Serenade" - What is your favorite way to spend a snow day when you cannot go out because there is so much snow on the ground? Find a way to get to an indoor pickleball facility and play all day.
- "Joy Is Coming in the Morning" - The holiday season can be a tough time for some people. For the person who is looking for joy amongst their sorrow, what would you tell them to help them to keep going? Feel what you feel, but do not give up. Morning always comes.
- "Fill My Stocking Up with Coal" - This song is all about keeping warm and being able to have enough coal to cook your holiday meal. How do you feed your soul when you start to get discouraged? I feed my soul with music, prayer, pickleball, and therapy.

8. What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Christmas morning with my nephews, and spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family.
9. Since our last interview together, you have moved to Nashville. How do you feel living in Nashville has furthered your career in a way living in NYC did not allow you to advance? Nashville has given me a constant creative community. Writers, studios, musicians, collaborators are all right here every day. It pushed my songwriting forward in a huge way.
10. What is something we did not get to talk about in this interview that you would like my audience to know about you? See you LIVE in person! Come to a show!
