The picture above is NOT from 2009 when I saw Actress Rue McClanahan at the VIP After Party for A Sordid Comedy Affair.

This photo is from 2001 when I got to see Rue McClanahan in Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway revival of The Women.

I was a volunteer usher at the time and was waiting for Rue by the inner Stage Door of the theatre, and much to my delight, on this particular night, Rue exited from here, and was kind enough to take a picture with me.

Now we took this photo in the lobby entrance of the theatre, which I later found out, I was not technically allowed to do, but when this is the moment I am getting to meet one of my Entertainment Idols, the rules get thrown out 😂
