In Beneath the Ice of the Vistula, a reclusive Jewish composer and his Polish cook form a volatile bond in the weeks leading up to the Nazi invasion, forcing them to confront art, love, and survival in a world on the brink of collapse.

Cady McClain is the first woman to win a Daytime Emmy© for playing 3 different characters, on 3 different daytime series, on 3 different networks
Cady made Emmy© history by taking home the gold for her roles on All My Children (Best Juvenile, 1990), As the World Turns (Best Supporting Actress, 2004), and Days of Our Lives (Best Guest Performer, 2021).
Cady is currently playing the role of “Pamela Curtis” on CBS' Beyond the Gates, which Entertainment Weekly, recently named one of the best TV shows of 2025.
In 2024, Cady starred “Joan Plowright” in Austin Pendleton's Off Broadway play Orson’s Shadow, followed by What Happened Was at The Chain Theatre's 2025 Summer One Act Festival in NYC.
Cady has also been seen on the theatrical stage in Shirley Valentine at Cape May Stage, The Red Address at Second Stage Theater, Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing at Lincoln Center Theater, A Comedy of Errors at the Hudson Guild Theater, and Barefoot in the Park at the Westbury and Valley Forge Music Fair theaters. Cady also performed in 2 one-woman performance art pieces: Mona7 and Inventions of Farewell (HERE Theatre).
In addition to the above Soap Operas, Cady has also been seen on multiple episodes of Law & Order SVU (opposite Amanda Seyfried, Mariska Hargitay, Michael O’Keefe, Ice T & Kevin Kane).
