Adam's Call: Andy Karl and Orfeh: "Legally Bound" at Feinstein's/54 Below: What an incredible evening I had at Feinstein's/54 Below seeing Broadway couple Andy Karl & Orfeh performing their final night of their new show "Legally Bound." It was an evening full of powerful voices, fun stories, & great songs!
Adam's Call: The New York Pops' "Make The Season Bright" was a starry night! This year's concert featured Tony nominees Liz & Ann Hampton Callaway along with recording artists Will & Anthony Nunziata, conducted by maestro Steven Reineke, & backed by The New York Pops/Essential Voices USA. This family affair was a spectacular evening!
Adam's Call: Lorna Luft "Triumph" at Feinstein's/54 Below: Celebration of Life: Just 18 weeks ago, Lorna was in an operating room fighting for her life while she had a taxing 7-hour surgery for breast cancer. Now Lorna is up on stage singing her heart and soul out! With just 2 concerts left, this Friday, January 8 at 7pm and 9:30pm "Triumph" at Feinstein's/54 Below is a show you don't want to miss!
Adam's Call: Mathieu Blue's "Merry Christmas To You" at The Metropolitan Room was merry and bright! The holiday season should be all about smiles, laughter, and fun. That is exactly what you get when you attend a Mathieu Blue holiday show! His soothing voice, heartfelt and fun songs, really put me in the mood for the holidays! Here's to making memories and music!
Adam's Call: The New York Pops' Holiday Concert: Kelli and Matthew: Home for the Holidays was a Winter Wonderland! The New York Pops Holiday Concert always puts me a smile on my face. This year's concert was no exception! It was a real treat to see Matthew Morrison and Kelli O'Hara together again! Separately, they are fantastic, but united, they are something unreal!
On Friday, December 16, 2011, I was treated to a truly delightful evening of holiday music at Carnegie Hall when I attended the NY Pops Holiday concert "John Pizzarelli and Jesicca Molaskey Wish You a Swingin' Christmas." This was my first time seeing the NY Pops and I was entranced, engulfed, and mesmerized by their talent!
Christmas comes but once a year, but every year, Dina Martina needs to bring her holiday show to NYC! This year's show, entitled "Dina Martina: An Early Hoarfrost" was my very first Dina holiday show and it was a blast! Dina illuminated the Laurie Beechman theatre with her signature style humor (which can often be a little dark and twisted), song parody's, and gifts for three sold-out nights!
