With that line of thinking, then it's doctor's orders to go see Julie Halston's Classical Julie as part of Jim Caruso's Broadway at Birdland in NYC!

This hysterical evening of classic Julie comedy along with her interpretations of such classic theatrical moments from Shakespeare to Ibsen was super delightful! With the hour I spent laughing at Classical Julie, I won't need a dose of botox for years to come as my face was stretched from ear to ear.

The show was much hotter, tighter, and punchier than before! The changes that Julie made were magnificent. She kept the most funny moments and added in some real zingers! What makes Julie Halston's comedy so brilliant is her delivery. From a simple look to her vocal inflection, Julie knows how to reel the audience in. Julie can turn the pages of an autobiography or a NYT wedding announcement (both of which she does effortlessly) into some of the most genius comedic material I have seen. No topic was off limits for Julie. She talked about plastic surgery, her mother, Hurricane Sandy, and a variety of classical theatre moments with some famous impressions mixed in. I don't want to give too much away, but let's just say Julie adores the movie Grey Gardens.

As Julie's mother so brilliantly said, "Squeeze your anus, release, and think love!" To find out the context of that, go see Classical Julie!
