Tonight I had the fortunate experience of attending the performance of "The Suspicious Packages" at the opening night of "The Left Out Festival" at Stage Left Studio in NYC. "The Left Out Festival" is celebration of LGBT theatre (April 7-17)!
From Madonna and Lady Gaga to Cher, Kelly Clarkson, Paula Abdul, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Melissa Etheridge, and Michael Jackson, "The Suspicious Packages" (Erik "Devin" Sisco and Dana "Delia" Piccoli) take to the stage performing acoustic cover pop songs. Their re-arranged and energetic style fill this hour plus of delight wonderfully while keeping the audience engaged. Their chemistry and patter add to their charm.
A very interactive evening, with a Cher-Off and audience assistance on several songs, "The Suspicious Packages" know how to handle their audience! With a catalog of music to take you on a musical journey from the 80s right through today, "The Suspicious Packages" are a dynamic duo to go see!
If you didn't catch them tonight at "The Left Out Festival," then you have another chance to catch "The Suspicious Packages" doing what they do best on May 13 at 9pm at Otto's Shrunken Head (538 East 14th Street, between Avenue A & B).
