Last week I attended "How To Succeed Without Really Trying," directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford and starring Daniel Radcliffe, John Larroquette, Tammy Blanchard, Christopher J. Hanke and featuring fellow "Adaumbelle's Quest" participant Charlie Williams at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in NYC.
This feel good musical about making it in the business world is fun, energetic, and identifiable no matter what your job is. Daniel Radcliffe is very enjoyable as "J. Pierrepont Finch" who tries to make his way up the corporate ladder. Tammy Blanchard adds much comic relief as "Hedy LaRue," while Christopher J. Hanke is the guy you love to hate as "Bud Frump." Taking the spotlight and laughs whenever she takes to the stage is Ellen Harvey as "Miss Jones," John Larroquette's asssitant. Her comedic skills are spot on and dazzle the audience each and every time.
Tony Award winner Rob Ashford has given his signature style of colorful dance moves that leaves you wanting more, while four-time Tony Award Winner Catherine Zuber has created a host of sleek costumes to match!
If you are looking for a fun night out, then I suggest "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in NYC (302 West 45th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenue). Click here for tickets!
