Call Answered: It's exciting when an interview I did with one person leads to an interview with another. Because of my interview with "Fair Haven" filmmaker Kerstin Karlhuber, I found my way to actor/writer/producer Tom Malloy, who produced & co-starred in the film. It was great getting to learn more about "Fair Haven" + the other films/TV shows Tom has produced/starred in, including the Amazon comedy series "Midtown," currently in its second season, about the banter that happens between cops.

After seeing her one-woman show "Asking For It," a show about the rules & rhetoric about rape, comedy & the awkward laughs in between, I, have the upmost respect for Adrienne, her comedy style, & braveness in tackling the subject of rape. Now Adrienne is back with her new show THIS, a solo performance ever-evolving work that writes, in real time. THIS will be performed at New York Live Arts 4/5-4/8 at 7:30pm!

When I heard Samuel Shem, author of "The House of God," was releasing a new book I knew I had to give him a call. Luckily, Samuel answered. "At The Heart of the Universe," is a fictitious story, based upon Samuel's own experiences about the ups and downs of adoption!
Call Answered: I love the "Sharknado" TV movies. I also love people who express themselves thru writing, which leads us to Masiela Lusha, actress, writer, & wife. When Masiela was brought to my attention, I fell in love with her story...from being a refugee to making her acting dreams come true, including her breakout role on ABC's "George Lopez." Most recently, Masiela was seen as "Gemini" in "Sharknado: The 4th Awakens" & her latest book of poems will be released 11/19 entitled "The Living Air!"

Fast forward to Andy's film "Words," an incredibly inspiring film about stuttering, poetry, & achieving your dreams! "Words" has already been featured in several film festivals around the world including InShorts Film Festival in London on 10/21 & the Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival 11/4-11/5 in Austin, TX!
When Marina Tempelsman and Nicco Aeed announced they were doing a six-month residency at The PIT (The People's Improv Theater) creating a different play each month, I knew I had to call them to find out more. Luckily, Marina and Nicco answered my call and filled me in on this great project! With Marina and Nicco's unique brand of humor, "Unpacking: A Ghost Story Told In The Dark," playing at The PIT from Feb. 21-26, takes place in the dark with the audience lighting the stage with flashlights, focuses on fears of the dark, commitment, and ghosts of past relationships!
