Call Answered: Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of all time! If I'm not going out, I love curling up on the couch watching some of my favorite Halloween-themed shows. I also love telling and hear ghost stories. The theatre is rich in ghost stories which is why I was so excited to get to do this special interview with two of my fellow theatre reporters: Steve Schonberg (Center on the Aisle) and Laura Heywood (BroadwayGirlNYC). They are hosting "Ghost Light: Songs and Creepy Stories from Broadway and Beyond To Get You in The Halloween Spirit" at Feinstein's/54 Below on Friday, October 30 at 11:30pm featuring Daisy Eagan, Keala Settle, Christina Sajous, Doreen Montalvo, Stacy Sullivan, and Brian Losoya.

Call Redialed: Growing up, I loved watching Tony and two-time Golden Globe winner Linda Lavin on the hit TV series "Alice!" I couldn't wait to see what would happen each week at Mel's Diner! Now, as an adult, I still love watching Linda on TV, like in last season's "Sean Saves The World," but I also love seeing Linda on the Broadway stage and watching her night club acts! Linda's drive, talent, and security in who she is, is a big inspiration to me! Like Linda, I am "Starting Over" in this new decade of my life. I'm excited for what's to come, which includes getting to see Linda's new show "Starting Over" at 54 Below. Linda will be lighting up the 54 Below stage once again September 7, 10, 11, and 12 at 7pm performing Broadway favorites, standards, jazz, and even some songs she learned from the great girl singers!

Call Answered: One great thing about this world we live in is that it's made up of all different kinds of people. Everyone has their own struggles in life and I for one, have had my share of challenges in life. It's these struggles that either makes us stronger or breaks us down, but whatever the outcome, lessons are learned and Evan Ruggiero, "The One-Legged Song and Dance Man," learned first hand just what it means to achieve your dreams no matter what the odds are! I was so moved by our interview at 54 Below's press event about his upcoming show The One-Legged Song and Dance Man: Volume 3 that will be taking place on Friday, August 14 at 9:30pm. Evan's story is inspiring and after talking with him for the few moments we had together, I will never say "I can't" again!
