1. Who inspired you to become a performer? I think I was just born this way. Surely, Stephen Sondheim made me want to be a writer. You know - it might have been Miss Piggy. I've always wanted to be her.

2. What was your first professional performance? I played Winthrop in The Music Man at a highly respected semi-professional community theater in NJ in 1990 at 11. That was back when I could tap...

3. What is your best experience in a show? I like the laughter and the applause. I guess that means I have low self esteem?

4. Is there ever a time you thought about quitting? Yes, every day, but unfortunately, there isn't anything else I can foresee myself doing.

5. Favorite day of the week? Whichever day I can see my girlfriend, though I'm partial to tv on Thursdays between The Office, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, Smallville, Supernatural and the Sarah Silverman Program...

6. Favorite celebrity gossip website? I don't have one. I read Playbill.com and the NY Times daily, Time magazine weekly, and I visit quite a few political blogs hourly - the most renowned probably being fivethirtyeight.com .

7. Favorite Musical? Sunday in the Park with George. Seeing it made me want to become an artist. Second would be Sweeney Todd b/c it is the best crafted score ever written. Third would be Merrily We Roll Along which probably solidified my fate after I was in it the summer after high school.

8. Favorite Play? Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? - I did a report on it in 6th grade, and have loved it ever since. Second would be Waiting for Godot.

9. Favorite ride at an amusement park? I don't care for rollercoasters much - I do like the tea cups though - being dizzy is better than being jolted around up and down...

10. Favorite holiday? April Fools Day - hands down - I spend 24 hours pulling all kinds of pranks and sending fake emails and texts, etc. Halloween is a close 2nd, however... b/c that's when I can finally dress up as Miss Piggy w/o people looking at me funny. Or as funny.
