Daybreak by Bobby Cronin

On Monday, October 3, at 7pm, Award Winning composer Bobby Cronin will descend his brilliance upon the Gay and Lesbian Center in NYC when the center along with NealB.tv present a benefit concert of Bobby's new musical "Daybreak," with all proceeds benefiting the center and their services.

According to press notes, "Daybreak" …tells the story of the troubled relationship pf Dylan Ryan, a 40-year old painter and his wife Rebecca, a nearing 40s housewife who hides behind her humor. They issue with their marriage? Dylan likes to sleep with men on “the down low”. As the couple moves into Dyaln’s childhood home in San Francisco, the story of Dylan’s parents unfold as the memories haunt the old house.

Johanna Pinzler, award-winning director (San Francisco Critics Award, Best Director Spelling Bee) will direct a cast that includes fellow "Adaumbelle's Quest" participants Raymond J. Lee ("Anything Goes"), Sheri Sanders ("Rock The Audition"), LaQuet Sharnell ("Lysistrata Jones," "Memphis"), along with E. Clayton Cornelious ("The Scottsboro Boys," "Wonderland").

The Gay and Lesbian center is located at 208 West 13th Street (between 7th & 8th Avenue).

Reception: 6:30pm. Showtime: 7pm!

Awesome & Awesomer

Be sure to catch fellow "Adaumbelle's Quest" participant Ann Harada along with Carey Anderson, Gwen Hollander, and Adam Halpin in "Awesome & Awesomer" this Monday (Sept. 26) & Tuesday (Sept. 27) at 7pm at the Triad in NYC (158 West 72nd Street). "Awesome & Awesomer" is a fun evening featuring the songs of Phoebe Kreutz!

The Tempest Ladies On Tour

This past May I got to interview a fantastic group of ladies known as "The Tempest Ladies," who perform classic texts, specifically "The Tempest." Now these ladies are taking their acclaimed show on the road even more by traveling country wide showing theaters why their show be booked.

I can say after seeing them, theaters should book this show because they take a classic text, like "The Tempest" and make it even more fun with their energy, enthusiasm, chemistry, and most of all talent!
