On Monday, October 3, at 7pm, Award Winning composer Bobby Cronin will descend his brilliance upon the Gay and Lesbian Center in NYC when the center along with NealB.tv present a benefit concert of Bobby's new musical "Daybreak," with all proceeds benefiting the center and their services.
According to press notes, "Daybreak" …tells the story of the troubled relationship pf Dylan Ryan, a 40-year old painter and his wife Rebecca, a nearing 40s housewife who hides behind her humor. They issue with their marriage? Dylan likes to sleep with men on “the down low”. As the couple moves into Dyaln’s childhood home in San Francisco, the story of Dylan’s parents unfold as the memories haunt the old house.
Johanna Pinzler, award-winning director (San Francisco Critics Award, Best Director Spelling Bee) will direct a cast that includes fellow "Adaumbelle's Quest" participants Raymond J. Lee ("Anything Goes"), Sheri Sanders ("Rock The Audition"), LaQuet Sharnell ("Lysistrata Jones," "Memphis"), along with E. Clayton Cornelious ("The Scottsboro Boys," "Wonderland").
The Gay and Lesbian center is located at 208 West 13th Street (between 7th & 8th Avenue).
